Teaching is the noblest profession that goes beyond the literal meaning. It is more than academic yearnings; it is more than letters and numbers. Every teacher aims to make a difference. The teacher imparts knowledge but more than that they impart themselves in the teaching and learning process. When do we say that a teacher is highly effective? How do we measure a teacher’s effectiveness?  Most people say if their students have high grades, become professionals in their chosen fields. If they graduated with flying colors, or when they win competitions. An effective teacher makes a difference. Molds a hero and molds a responsible citizen. A highly effective teacher changes the mindset of each student for their betterment. He or she shows compassion to those who are left behind inside the classroom. A teacher who chooses to understand, a teacher whose patience is never-ending. A highly effective teacher educates the mind, heart, and soul of a student. He is very much willing to acquire new things to be able to give more to each student he encounters along the way. His standards are always equal and attainable. He always prepares and sets clear and fair judgments. A highly effective teacher shapes students’ lives this world needs.
