To be discouraged is to lose heart and strength. Doctors and psychologists are convinced of the relationship between the two. Discouragement can actually penalize both our wills to do something and our strength to carry it out. Discouragement saps our strength emotionally and physically. We need to be aware of the relationship between weariness and discouragement. We are especially acceptable to discouragement when we are overly tired.

We need to be aware of the relationship between physical weariness and spiritual temptation. I often get discouraged when I am tired. One way to compensate for this is by having more day off or even short breaks. Physical exercise is nature’s remedy but sometimes the holiest thing we can do is sleep in Discouragement kills confidence and a stumbling blocks to attain our goals. It is doubtful if anyone successfully leads who fail to meet it head or moving decisively leader enforced a prolonged strategy to arrest the discouragement that halted the work or the goal. Prayer is the first line of defensive against discouragement. A leader is someone who influences other. The impact of his life was shining out brightening other vision, wisdom is also important to overcome discouragement. God gives leadership wisdom. Wisdom that is often out of desperation. The discouraged leaders needed practical encouragement. He provided it with a home guard of men with “swords, spears and bows”

No one is big in leadership without learning the value of contingency plan of an emergency measure. A leader is best known for his role as builder. The right perception of a leader is important to overcome discouragement.
