“Life is short. Smile while you still have teeth.” Although having no teeth doesn’t give us the right not to smile, life always gives us the reasons to live in the best way that we can.
Everyone is facing different trials. Problems occur in every corner of the world. Still, people have different ways on surpassing it, positively or even the worse one. I, myself is not an exception. Even the most significant person has it. But, think of it the other way around. A world having no trials, no difficulties and no worries. What a world it can be! It feels like heaven.
Imagine how easy it was living without dilemmas, but, is it really that amazing if life seems to be that stress-free. We all heard that problems were made to makes us stronger, yes it is and sometimes it made us even more intelligent and resilient. While facing problems depends on how strong or weak a person is, being strong or weak defies the problem we face. Without something to test our faith, we cannot say that we are human, that we deserve to live. If people don’t know how to grieve and how it feels over triumph, we are like lifeless. We must know how to endure pain and celebrate victory over trials.
Inspiration. This is our secret weapon. Those who are closest to us and we valued the most are our inspiration. They give us courage and strength, and even light in the darkest hour of our life. They give us some sort of power from inside that we don’t really know where it came, it just happened.
“Life is short, Smile even if you don’t have teeth anymore”. Smile is not an assurance of happiness, but it a way of showing how grateful we are and deserving to the life that He gave us. We always have the reason to smile, no matter how big it is, no matter how slight is.
