Observations about the new curriculum of the Secondary Education, where series of Field Studies were integrated are being done nationwide. Furthermore, observation to the too many classrooms in a particular school that caters children who will be under this new curriculum was also given emphasis. These different things can lead for a realization that no matter how good the aim of the curriculum is there can be other factors to consider. It gives a deeper insight of how little yet limitless power of education is.

Imprinted pictures to one of the walls of a school were the beautiful words that can lead to an analysis for every Filipino.
Experiences of an individual is untiring when education is the topic Whenever I enter from one room to another, and see the looks upon students faces, I see myself looking back at a mirror years before. I remember the same expressions, the same way how their eyes shine, their lips curve into a smile, the same “I don’t know anything yet” expression every child wears. However, education means not just mere transmitting knowledge, it is also engraving love and values to your students’ lives.
Education makes the difference. That is the banner of the wannabe teachers during events, but does it really entail the personal philosophies of everyone else? No. Education makes the difference, and the biggest difference to a person’s life is brought by the teachers. Teaches are the agents for these changes, and for the education to be fully satisfied the purpose it is suppose to portray. Education like any other tool, is a means for favourable change.
Education is the road to success, but the person who has been under education doesn’t signify that he is indeed educated. It may simply mean that he knows, but not that he cares. It may mean that he is civilized but not contented. Education is every inch of what we need for the change we hope to have, nevertheless it is also very delicate matter we should always reconsider to meet the most satisfying result to build a community with persons of values not just success.
