The operation of public schools in our educational system is made easier by the presence of supervisors who serve as the district link to the higher office.  Supervisors become the leaders of the district schools and serve as guide and inspiration to the teachers.

In the performance of their duties, a supervisor HELPS the teachers and the school heads as well.

A supervisor Have encouraging comments and observations which motivates the teachers more.

A supervisor Encourages risk-taking.  It is part of a supervisor’s duty to make the teachers think out of the box and adopt new, yet unproven, methods and strategies of teaching.

A supervisor Listens to suggestions. An ear for everyone and a heart for all.  A supervisor has no monopoly of ideas and suggestions.

A supervisor Provides questions that expand a teacher’s thinking. Leaving challenging questions to teachers opens their inquisitive minds to new ideas and broadens their horizons.

A supervisor Supports teachers’ efforts.  A good supervisor extends full support to a teacher’s undertaking.  The supervisor is the source of strength for teachers in times of pain and glory.

A supervisor who HELPS teachers is a supervisor with a heart for education.
