A serious impact on learning has been due to the COVID 19 virus, resulting in widespread educational gaps between students. These weaknesses relate to the disparities of knowledge and skills, which have arisen because of disruption in traditional learning environments. Understanding the concepts of learning gaps and learning recovery and implementing strategies to address them effectively will become essential as educational institutions seek to recover.
The process of providing support to students who have experienced educational gaps due to disruption in their studies is referred to as education recovery. In order to help students, recover the loss of knowledge and skills and return to their academic performance, it includes targeted interventions and support. The aim of the Learning Recovery Program is to give students the necessary foundations for successful attainment at higher grades or levels of education.
The main challenges for educational institutions around the world are to close knowledge gaps and promote school revitalization. To reduce disparities and ensure that every pupil receives support to achieve his or her academic potential, it is possible for us to identify the scope of educational gaps, implement targeted interventions, create appropriate learning environments, encourage collaboration as well as leverage technology and resources. A better, fairer education system that enables all students to realize their fullest potential can be created because of prioritizing learning recovery.
