The key to success is education. That is the quotation that everybody keeps in mind to be determined in learning. But we all know that everybody cannot avail the education of today. Many parents dream of a better future for their children. But some of them cannot give it to their children. There are a lot of reasons why parents cannot give proper education to their children, and the best example is poverty.
The government is spending a lot of money in investing for education but still, it cannot increase the percentage of student population. There are still many street children and some of them are the so called “working children”. They need to work for them to have food to eat that’s why they cannot go to school. The most important for them is to earn money so that they can put some food in their stomach. Yes we have government resources but still, it cannot give the children of our nation a high quality but free education.
In the past few years, the Department of Education or DepEd are conducting a lot of program that can give many children a reason for them to go to school, determined to learn, and to reduce student dropouts. They are making a lot of programs that can help many children of our nation to be educated. And one program that they are conducting is the “Adopt – A – School Program”.
Adopt – A – School Program is the DepEd’s way to offer all the private entities to be an active partner in the noble goal of educating all Filipinos. With this program, each Filipino can have the opportunity to pursue their dreams and to open their eyes to the real face of the world. All Filipinos are qualified to be educated because all of us are talented.
Every Filipino child deserves to be educated.Every Filipino child deserves high quality education. Every Filipino child deserves to have a profession someday. Every Filipino child is the new hero of our nation.
