These three atypical patterns enable dyslexic individual to be classified into one of three main subtypes—dysphonetic (unable to integrate symbols with their sounds), dyseidetic (unable to perceive letters and whole words as configurations or gestalts), or a combination of both.

Meanwhile Teaching is a very noble and tough profession that needs enthusiasm in reading and passion for understanding. Furthermore, it is a continuous process of learning to come up with new discoveries for a better future. Accordingly, in order to continue the process of learning you must READ a lot of books and deliver the best teaching and you must SPELL the words correctly.

However, HOW WILL YOU TEACH IF YOU HAVE DYSLEXIA or difficulty in written words? The answer is… Don’t focus on the problem, focus on the solution. Just come across with advantages that you have as being dyslexic teacher. These are some advantages that the dyslexic teacher possesses to become a competitive educator in spite of some difficulties.

Technique of teaching – dyslexic teacher has their own way on how to understand specific context in a book as well as how they have unique way to deliver it to their students.

Memorizing – since they can’t read written words with a single second, they tend to memorize those words to avoid stuttering in the middle of discussion.

Listening – they are much willing to listen on the voice of their students, Instead of reading a written explanation gathered from the internet.

Patience – teacher with dyslexia has much extensive patience in the students who have also difficulty in written words.

In conclusion, “Being Dyslexic doesn’t make a teacher less of a Teacher” every individual has their own difficulties. Excluding, not all individual know how to handle those difficulties. Nevertheless, teacher need to be a teacher whether they have difficulties or none, excuses are not allowed in teaching profession, just be you’re self and think positive. Indeed you are a Teacher; your first student is yourself.
