What is the ALS-PWD?
This intervention aims to deliver ALS programs to out-of-school children, youth and adults who are persons with disability through specialized approaches such as sign language and Braille.
Who are the target learners?
The target learners are out-of-school children, youth and adults who are:
- Hearing impaired
- Visually impaired
- Accreditation & Equivalency Program where the A&E is in Braille
- Basic Literacy Program where the learning resources are in Braille
- Learning sessions conducted using sign language in Filipino
Where, when and who conducts learning sessions?
The learning sessions are conducted at the Community Learning Centers by the teacher on schedules mutually agreed upon by the learners and the ALS teacher.
