Nestor, a very talented and a skillful boy.Oldest in the family of seven children. He stop going to school when he was on his second year. He work as an errand boy in a Auto Machine Shop untilhe learned the trade and become a skilled auto mechanic.Now, at his age of twenty one Nestor begins to shape his necessary skill .The only problem now is that he has no Diploma. He did not graduate from High School.

Today, Nestor is in Saudi Arabia working as Auto Mechanic.Thanks to Alternative Learning System of the Dept. of Education.

Thru ALS program, Nestor realizes his dreams, help his family alleviate their economic lives.

ALS is the answer for those students who wants to learn but by unfortunate circumstances they cannot. The DepEd with all its schools at hand should exert more to reach out more Nestor.

Productivity leads to Progress. If our youth like Nestor could become productive, there is no reason, Why we will not attain economic development . ALS is one of the answer.
