The World of teachers is a chaotic one. Panic and anxiety thrive. Disharmonies abound, problems are born every minute of the day. No wonder teachers experience enormous stress, which in turn forces them to lose control of their lives at times.
But in spite of the difficulties brought about by work, family, life, health issues and relationships, there’s one effective way of handling yourself through all of these.
I would like to share an excerpt that I had read about the overcoming of giant problems, and the article goes like this…
The story of David and Goliath is perhaps the most popular story in the entire Old Testament. I am sure everybody knows the story. We know the characters, what happened and how it ended. And yet even when we know or have heard the story of countless times in the past, we still love to hear and read the story of David and Goliath, we are given to renewed courage to carry on to face the giant problems of life.
There is no problem too great that we cannot overcome it. There is no problem too overwhelming that we cannot conquer it. All we need is God. David had God. He conquered a giant problem called Goliath. Our problems are perhaps not as huge as Goliath, therefore we have every reason to take care of each. There is no giant we cannot overcome. There is no problem too overwhelming for us and there is no difficulty too impossible to bear. Everything is possible as everything was possible to David. Everything is possible for you. Today, receive the blessing: The Lord be with you.”
All of us have problems to be solved. All of us have doubts to be clarified. All of us have burdens to be unloaded. Some have more problems than the others. Some carry heavier burdens than others. But all of us have problems and all of us have difficulties. How do we solve a problem? We rely totally on God as if everything depends on Him and work as if everything depend on us. But after working totally and praying totally we also ask the help of other people because we know we cannot live alone.
This is the way to solve a problem. This is the way to confront our burdens. Not solely on God, He
cannot do that without your cooperation. And God uses human instrumentalities to help us. Pray totally, depend totally on God, work totally as if everything depended on you and ask the help of other people because no man is an island. These three working together will make our prayers effective. These three working together will make our efforts successful. These three working together will improve our relationships.
To my fellow love teachers, always wear a smile inside your class and set aside all problems and never bring it, just put it in the hands of the Lord. We are one of the most factors that can create what kind of cinema we have every day. We are like an actor, and our emotions really affect our classroom. Remember, life is drama, a comedy, horror and sometimes an action. You have nothing to worry, if you will only allow Him to be your personal Director in all aspect of your life, and if this will happen, every day you will have a beautiful and a happy production.
