They say that people come and go. Hello, to new friends and bye for now to the old ones. Now, new teachers come as retired teachers go. This month of June, new faces in the Department of Education are seen. New teachers are assigned in the different schools to handle the vacant position. Sometimes these new teachers handle multi-grade classes. Here are some things that may help you if you’re new in this field.
- Don’t be afraid to ask for help.
- Build a camaraderie with your co-teachers.
- Make some adjustments in your new career.
There is a saying that “You cannot give if you don’t have”. By asking the old teachers in the field of teaching , you can get some ideas for you to use in this profession.New teachers must be honest with themselves. If you really don’t know what to do, please feel free to ask your co- workers. This will help you to be skilful in doing your job well.
Be friends with your co –workers and build a harmoniousrelationships with them.By doing so,this will lessen your worries and tension that you are feeling. You will have a nice feeling doing your daily routine with your co-teachers. In the end, you will find teaching easy .
Have some background information on your new schoolthe personnel in the school, their attitudes, behavior. Adjusting yourself to the school environment will help a lot in your new assigned work. Once you adjusted yourself to your new environmentyou will have the chance to survive in your first year of teaching.
