Exams are necessary and stressful part of study. Since they are so important, you need to study in ways that get the best results. Here are some ways to improve your study skills. Adapt them to your needs and environment to make the best of your education.
1. STUDY PLACE
Make sure you have enough space to spread your textbooks and notes out, enough light, comfortable chair, turn off the TV, and stay away from computer games
Try and get rid of all distractions, and make sure you feel as comfortable and able to focus as possible. For some people, this may mean almost complete silence, for other background music helps Try avoiding your bed, it is very tempting to just lie down and take a nap. Think about what works for you and take time to get it right.
2. GROUP STUDY
Never underestimate the power of your peer. Get together with friends for study session You may have questions that they have the answers to and vice versa. 3. THINK POSITIVE

4. TAKE TIME TO STUDY
Don’t study later than the time usually go to sleep, you may fall asleep or be tempted to go to sleep, instead try studying in the afternoon or early evening. If you are morning person try study in the morning.
5. SPACE OUT YOUR STUDYING
You will learn more by studying a little everyday instead of waiting to cram at the last minute. By studying everyday, the lessons will stay in your long term memory but if you try to study at the last moment, the lesson will only reside in your short-term memory that you will easily forget.
6. TEST YOURSELF
Test yourself or someone test you on the topics to find out what your work and strong areas are. You can use the review question at the end of each chapter, practice tests that the teacher may give out or other pertinent materials.
7. GET PLENTY OF REST THE NIGHT BEFORE THE EXAM
Children in elementary school require on average 10-11 hour sleep while adolescents in high school require between 8-10 hours of sleep for optimal performance. Remember that a tired mind is a slow mind. Get enough sleep!
8. GET ENOUGH FOOD AND DRINK PLENTY OF WATER
