Teaching is an active process in which one person shares information with others to provide them with the information to make behavioral changes.(http://www.ncdhhs.gov/dhsr /hcpr/pdf/PrinciplesofAdultLearning2007.pdf)
Teaching is a serious responsibility. The future of the so many children lies in the hands of a teacher. What will the child be tomorrow greatly depends on how the teacher affects and influences his student’s life.
In the coming years ahead of us, the world will be different compared on how it looks at the present time. The demands for survival will be more complicated, expectations will be so high and competition will also be very stiff. Thus, every individual as early as possible should keep himself ready in traversing the road full of challenges and obstacles in this fast changing world and one way of doing this is to get himself educated. To make this preparation possible, the world calls for the indispensable role of the brain blacksmiths – the educators. The different groups of individuals who will stand in our society in the future cling on how they will be shaped by their mentors. As the requirements needed by every individual in the upcoming years become more difficult, the greater the demands and challenging tasks are put on the shoulders of our dear teachers.
To meet the stipulation placed before them, teachers must be dynamic. Being dynamic means the ability to shift and change over time under the given circumstances. They must be able to adapt the new environment where they are going to work in. As an example, nowadays, the teaching-learning process makes use of information communication technology. For those people who aspire to be a teacher, they need to be skillful in navigating technology. They have to learn how to execute their lessons using computers and other multi-media devices.
Teachers should be open to changes. They must be always ready to modifications of the requirements in the practice of their profession. They don’t have to resist the innovation but rather take the necessary steps to adapt to the call of noblest career in their new working environment and do their job well done. Teachers need to evolve themselves into dynamic individuals who are able to meet the demands of the modern day.
