            In the world of It and computers, most of the youngsters dream of becoming an engineer, doctor, architect or a businessman but rarely the youth gives a thought to become a teacher. I know it is not that glamorous and whenever we think about our teachers we recall some boring looking spectacle clad people with a fixated question mark on their faces. But come on guys, teaching can be fun with you being  a lively teacher. Teachers are held second only to the parents. Their contribution in building our future is no less than our parents. So if you too wish to take up a job that involves shaping the future of tomorrow then noting is better than that I will tell you about some of the other benefits of being a teacher that are sure to motivate you to become a school teacher and create a better future generation.

Great Working Hours

Think about your corporate counterparts who work for hours along with hectic shifts. Compared to that, being a teacher saves a lot of time that you can spend with your family, friends and have a social life. Most of the school durations are maximum 6 hours so a school teacher has to work for 6 or maximum 8 hours a day. If you are a special subject teacher then you have to work even less. Minimum working hours is  one of the greatest benefits of being a preschool teacher.

Job Security

In the betraying world of recession where people  are fired without any prior notification , teaching is one profession that is relatively secure. Have you heard of a teacher being fired ever? Well rarely if you ever have. Because whatever happens children are sent to schools and when they come authorities need teachers to teach them and manage them. So being a teacher is quiet relaxing and securing. Especially if you are associated with government schools that have strict rules and provisions for terminating teachers compared to private schools.

Imagine, you can spend every vacation with your family and children. In how many other profession does this happen? Hardly any profession allows you to avail this kind of luxury. The reason is obvious and simple. When the kids have holidays you get some automatically. Be it Christmas vacation, summer breaks, or whatever holiday, you are sure to enjoy them.

And for them you are no less than an idol. The young ones generally bug their parents talking about their teacher “today miss said this “, miss taught me a poem”, “sir dis that”, and so on. So virtually you are going to be their world. Isn’t it great to be such an important part of many angels.
