Many youngsters in generation would agree that it’s difficult to keep up in this fast-changing world. The stress and the pressure always creep in. It is very challenging to accomplish loads of tasks and at the same time heal the wounds nobody knows about, right?
Isn’t it ironic how we try our very best to lift up others’ spirits yet ours are crashed? Sometimes because of extending our hands for others, we consume so much of ourselves that we become so numb and weak. This is not to tell you that you have to stop being so generous in giving your time, love and effort to them.
Let’s be honest with ourselves that we have our inner scars and bruises caused by disappointments, failures, expectations, guilt, fear and many more. There are some broken pieces inside us which we hide from the world. We believe that we are okay. We fear that when we put them all to light, darkness will prevail like judgments, criticisms, and isolation.
Reminder, when you want to be the source of others’ strength, know that you also need one.
Be vulnerable that not everyday you are strong enough to face your own battles; not everytime you can help others especially when you are suffocated by your mind’s chaos.
We are all broken and bruised.
But what should we do if we want to continue helping out others at the same time lifting ourselves up? My dear, you too need someone to console your broken spirit.Serving others feels great but serve yourself too.
Know that you have the power to heal someone, but heal yourself too. Nurse your wounds, revive your strength. Nourish yourself.
Run to your Source and Strength and teach others to run to Him as well for He is Origin of life’s goodness. Cry out to the Lord about all your setbacks, agony, anxiety and fear. You are not alone!Cast your burdens to Him. And as you seek God’s providence and light, your light will shine upon others. That’s truly amazing!
“My heart and my strength many times they fail. But there is one truth that always will prevail. God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.”
