Bullying within a today society has become a bigger problem than ever. The issue picks in any grade level, his issue peaks continues throughout into adulthood. Both the bully and victim can suffer from lasting physical and psychological effects. Bullying should never be taken lightly. It needs to be addressed and stopped immediately. Before the situation worsens. Teacher’s come up effective culminating activities like teambuilding, and giving such appreciation to those excel in given tasks. In line with this, teaching ESP, in junior high school and Personal Development in Senior High School, helps students to educate to show respect with each other. “No one is born hating another person because of the color of his skin, or his background and religion. People must learn to hate, and if they learn to hate, they can be thought to love for love comes more naturally to the human heart than its opposite” (Nelson Mandela)
Those who are victimized of bullying are not to blamed. Bullies act upon prejudice, hate and immaturity. Those who immerse themselves in bullying activities want the sense of power and control. They fight for nothing to bring their victim down, or to have something that they don’t have. A well-known psychologist stated, “Bullying is an attempt to instill fear and self- loathing. Being the repetitive target of bullying damages your ability to view yourself as desirable, capable and effective individual “ ( Dombeck, “The Long Term Effects of Bullying).Students who suffer in this kind of activities, therefore they should be aware in the rights of their victim. The Republic Act 10627 or the Anti- Bullying Act of 2013 was signed by former President Aquino III enacted to help reduce and eliminate bullying. This legislation may be national or sub- national, and is commonly aimed at ending bullying in schools and workplace.
