Everyone must be able to adapt to this fast-changing world where “transformation” is constant.

Earlier, educators might have seen “instructional materials” as a burden because of the various materials that needed to be prepared and printed. This traditional method of teaching consumes a lot of time, leaving teachers exhausted. When teachers are tired and cramming, their productivity suffers. Furthermore, because teachers are preoccupied with their materials, they tend to overlook the fact that mastery of their subject matter is the most important part of the teaching-learning process.

However, there are many technological advances available today that can support the educational process without putting teachers under pressure to prepare learning materials daily. These not only benefit teachers, but they also improve the quality and quantity of educational content, making learning more interactive. Besides, because technologies are user-friendly, they can supplement teaching by providing limitless resources to make teaching and learning easier.

Canva is now one of the digital tools recognized by the Department of Education for use in teaching. Its primary goal is to design the most appealing and engaging lessons and activities for all learners, whether in a traditional classroom setting or virtual. Furthermore, by designing PowerPoint, localized videos, storybooks, and infographics innovatively, this tool assists teachers in empowering classroom creativity. Similarly, whether someone is strategizing teaching concepts, creating a lesson plan, writing an instructional text, or designing visual aids, Canva can handle it all.

Change is constant; however, what is beautiful about this type of change is that it makes education more effective and efficient.
