One of the most common issue up on local education, by local I mean, inside the class room. Cheating.

Most often these kinds of small issues are not given correct attention. Who would care any way? What big deal could it be if one or two students cheat?

Well, to break it out on us all, it is a big deal. Psychologist studies said that cheating is a sign that a student does not really understand the lesson. Actually it does not need to be a Psychologist to know that. If a student understands a topic, why else would they result to cheating.

This does not only indicate a students weakness but it also reflect on the teacher’s ability to educate.

And if we think that it is a manor thing, once again, we are terribly wrong. There are studies that shows that a child who gets by in means of cheating has a 60% chances to fail in life. Why?

Because they know that if they could not understand they can just copy from their classmates or cheat ‘kodiko’. Later on their mentality would be accustom to these and subciously they would stop trying to understand the lessons and topics. Topics that could help them later on their lives.

And the chain reaction would go on and on.

Why let it be that way if we could actually prevent it? Teachers can make students abide strict rules on cheating, applying heavy consequences if they caught a student engaging to such cheating. And they would get lower results, they should be pushed to study harder or else there would also be consequences. Yes it is a bit of being a terror but it is a way to make sure that they would learn, so be it.

Even parents must discipline their child in order for him to have better chances in life, being second parents, we must also do the same. Because at the end of it all, hate us if they would, someday when they are mature enough they will know our purpose. And they might even thank us.
