Today, our country is facing the challenge of changing our educational system. The main reason is to be globally competitive and thinking that it will enhance the quality of education in our country.

Actually, if the information and material being teach and used on public schools or even private in our country is not on poor quality, there is no need for an extension of two more years because what is the sense of extending two more years or changing the system if it is already good, and what does two more years have to do to enhance the quality of education if the educational system remain poor just like before the additional two is added. the upgrading of subjects , the way teachers teach and the information being teach on it , as well as the upgrading of the competencies of teachers and the classrooms and  educational materials are the one that should be prioritized and upgrade to a very high standards to have a quality of education.

The quality of education is already on our educational system today and changing the system will not fix the problem and will not enhance the quality of education but it will just add more problems and burdens to students, teachers and even parents to the ongoing problems. Globally competitive Filipinos are already there anyway. It’s just adding lots of problems but as respect to the system we must embrace the change and be a part of the changes.
