As a kid, I have always been in awe of how my teachers would be smiling in front of us.

It seems like they have no problems at all as they go teaching us the basic math formulas, subject-verb agreement, and how to be a good kid.

That is how superficial my perception of teaching that I decided to become an educator myself.

But I was wrong to think that it is all rainbows and butterflies!

Becoming an educator needs a high level of commitment as every teaching day would feel like a battle. Even the precious rest day we might have may be allotted to devoting our time to honing our craft to provide the best lessons to the youth.

There were times where I wanted to quit. There were times where I cried my eyes out as I burn the midnight oil. There were times where I was so exhausted but the paperworks were still piled high in front of me.

However, those experiences were not enough to deter me from achieving my dream and becoming a hero for the youth- just like how my teachers become one for.
