Classroom management as defined is all about the balance between learning within the classroom and discipline. Today, various trends in teaching methodologies stress the need to define expectations for students. K to 12 program gives the venue for classroom learning and discipline as well wherein students are encouraged to be more sufficient, responsible and independent. They will grow in many ways that extend far beyond the classroom. However, teachers may have a fine line to walk as made themselves facilitator of learning.
Existing strategies for classroom management and discipline approaches tend to be, in general, quite effective. Inevitably, there is also the need to make some allowances for teaching style. Some teachers excel with one approach to classroom management and discipline. Others prefer alternative methods. Because of the increased use of technology in the classroom, we can certainly expect to see more of an integration of technology within the classroom, in part as a management approach but perhaps also as a discipline approach. Teachers may well find means of applying technology. Since K to 12 program enhances the modern approach in teaching-learning process. No opportunity for the students not to learn the lessons because of varied activities and strategies that serve as their focus of attention that leads them to develop their full potential, their values and competencies.
