As a science teacher, it is our tangible responsibility to develop the interests of our students to keenly study biological science. Kindly consider the following to gain the interests:
Be an efficient and effective science teacher. It is best way to create interest among your students in studying biological science if they see that you have the competence and if this influences them in their studies.
Be a creative science teacher. Showing one’s creativity may produce artistic approach of presenting the lessons in biological science. Students love to see that their teaching experiences are out of the conventional teaching instructions.
Be an updated science teacher. There are latest developments in the field of science that is why the teacher should keep himself or herself abreast with these new developments and these should be shared to the students.
Be an innovative science teacher. Having embraced the latest trends in education would inspire and stir the interests of the learners. Adapting changes in teaching like the use of multimedia and other forms of teaching would be helpful.
Be inclined to experiential learning. Simply teaching the theory is no longer effective. This calls for an experiential learning wherein the students will be engaged in various worthwhile activities like environment observations and experimentations.
Be an exemplary science teacher. Being a good example in advocating and upholding the principles of biological science is quite noticeable. Students would witness the way you stand to your ideals in promoting biological science.
Be a persevering science teacher. A teacher with hard work and perseverance would capture and seize the attention of the entire class. Persuading the students to engage in the study of biological science is not difficult if the teacher has the passionate heart to educate the learners.
Be an enlightening science teacher. Citing the importance of biological science to us would touch the hearts of the youth. If the teacher instills in them of its significance, for sure the interest will be developed.
