Everyday we deal with people around us. Not all the people we deal with posses positive attitudes. Others show some negative attitudes. These are what we call “attitude problems”.
Some of the attitudes problems that we encounter not only among professionals who are non-teacher but even among teachers as well are the following:
1. Arriving late to work and leaving early.
2. Taking for granted directions from their supervisors.
3. Showing difficulty in communicating with others.
4. Showing strange or exhibiting unusual behavior at work
5. Criticizing superiors and co-workers and co-teachers.
6. Enjoying seeing co-teachers make mistakes
The attitudes with which we approach eventually shape our individuality.
School heads, for that matter, should know how to deal with attitude problems to be able to meet the organization’s mission and vision.
It is also necessary that the school community including SGC, PTCA, work cooperatively for the benefit of the school children and improvement of the school.
This way we can attract stakeholders to adopt the school and support school’s programs and activities.
