The Department of Education earlier this week released a guideline for AWA (alternative Work Arrangement) during the period of National Emergency for school year 2020- 2021 due to Covid- 19 Pandemic. These guidelines was been adopted from the Office of the President and by the Inter Agency Task Force for the Management of Infectious Diseases together with Civil Service Commission which provide work arrangement and support mechanism for teaching and non- teaching personnel of Deped for the duration of National Emergency for the school 2021- 2022
The Deped protect the health, safety and well- being of all learners, teaching and non- teaching as they work from their own home in order to combat the spread of Corona virus particularly the new Delta variant within its jurisdiction that’s why they were advice not to report physically to their respective school.
Furthermore all teaching and non- teaching personnel of Department of Education are expected to make themselves available during working hours and must ensure that they spent honestly and integrity their duties and responsibilities assign by their immediate supervisors.
