Mathematics is probably the most hated subject … but there’s a way to have an easy time with Math and how to teach it effectively.
There are many strategies in teaching this particular subject. Either you teach seriously or the fun way, but I prefer to use the fun one, Why? Mathematics is a boring subject so why make it more boring, right? Make some activities that will boost their energy and mood to answer Math problems. For example, a game that is so nonsense at first but at the end, the solution to the problem is just right there.
Another one, during discussion, tell jokes to keep the class’ mood alive. Know the class’ funny pranks and go with it but of course, correct it. There are so many ways to make Math easy for children.
All educators are aware that not all students learn in the same manner. It is difficult to reach all learners all of the time. Often it is the students who understand and participate in the lesson that drive the instruction, leaving the student who “hides in the back” completely lost. The different strategies are intended to help teachers differentiate their lessons to reach those students who are struggling with mathematics.
Lecture-Discussion Method, Cooperative and Collaborative Learning, Jigsaw Method and Think-Pair-Share Method are various teaching learning strategies of Mathematics that approaches to the learners in terms of why we teach to them, what we learned and how we learned it in different topics in Mathematics.
Learn how so that Math won’t be Mental abuse to humans but will be Math – A Treat to Humans!.
