Every one of us has a dream of becoming somebody someday. Others have just simple dreams for themselves but others have higher aspirations, even seems impossible to achieve. It is much better to dream bigger than not to dream at all because that will serve as your inspiration to move on for reality of the things you dreamed of. We usually admire people who became famous because of their great achievements, the famous athletes, stars, rich businessmen, career men and women. These famous people did not acquire their present statuesque without doing big sacrifices to achieve their goals in life. Here are some ways that will help you achieve your goals in life.

1. Set a goal for the things you want to achieve like becoming head teachers, master teachers, principal, supervisors, superintendent, putting up a business after retirement, save millions in your bank account, settle down after some years in teaching, buying a car, world tour, etc. You are free to dream or set something for yourself, saying that these are the things I want for myself to happen in a few more years to come.
2. Devise a plan that will serve as your guide in actualizing your dream. Stick to that plan even you experience a lot of problem along the way. Be strong enough to face challenges because of you lack determination you will not succeed. There is a saying that “No guts no glory”.
3.  Be ready to make sacrifices, remember that anything you do in economics is opportunity cost. You need to exchange something for the things you want to get. You will not reap if you will not sow, just think that you are in the period of sowing and will reap the fruit of success later.
4. Always ask GOD’s guidance, if you have strong faith in GOD, the bible says that seek thee first the kingdom of God and everything will be given to you.
5. Increase your knowledge by enrolling in masteral or doctoral degree. Knowledge is an important investment, most successful people are wise and smart people, you can never be smart without knowledge that you can acquire through education. Remember that education is one key to success and a requirement in promotion ranking.
6. Be Optimistic- Always be positive in your outlooks in life, always expect that good things will come that thinking negative things. A person’s way of doing things are affected by negative perception, you can do your best if you are relax and free from worries but because you are stress with negative things in your mind you cannot do your work nicely and effectively.
7. Maintain your health- health is wealth, we need to stay physically and mentally fit to do our job or any activity that we want to engage in. if we have health problems that will be a hindrance in pursuing a career we want to. We know that every school year we are subject to physical examination because DepEd needs a healthy employee, if you have problems with your health that will be reason for not performing our duties well.
8. Be willing to accept criticism, we are not a perfect person everybody can commit mistakes, what is important is you have learned something from that mistakes and you are willing to improve yourself to become a much better person.
9. Be willing to accept defeats and failures- Remember that in every game there is a winner and a loser even you lose the game you can considered it as your best game ever played because you enjoyed every event in it, like in aspiring for a position which you are not sure of being held number one but what matter is you had the chance to an aspirant of that position.
10. Love your work- We must always love our work not only because it is our source of living but always think that every good deeds is being rewarded. Are you not happy seeing the successful people that you were able to transform because of your perseverance in performing you duties?
