People are born to make decisions.  From the moment he wakes up to prepare himself for another new ,exciting and challenging  day there are things he need to decide to come up with a better one. By  doing this,   there is a big possibility that he may experience worrying.   He may worry what to do, when to act, how to carry etc.   The Greek  word for “worry” is merimnao, which literally means ‘to be drawn in different directions”.

Although a certain amount of worry is essential for our survival because it helps us to focus on task at hand and leads us to constructive action sometimes it make us crazy about things we can’t control.  It creates problems, distracts our attention, toxic to our health and affects the people we love.  It disrupts our lives and disconnects us from others.

Worry  is an uninvited guest who spoils the fun in life just when we are feeling triumphant of filled with hope.

Worry is only a state of mind.  It is up to us whether we will allow it to grow to nurture on our fears.  Let us not be afraid because we are more valuable to God than a whole flock of sparrows( Luke 12:7 ). Trust in the Lord with all your heart, do not depend on your own understanding.  Seek his will in all you do and he will show you which path to take(Proverbs  3:5, 6 )

To deal with worries head on, we can choose to think of the present concerns and decide to do something about  them instead of simply worrying them.
