High school life is considered as one of the most enriching stage in one’s life. It is time for new relationship and learning. It is the period of gathering of fresh ideas and the dawning challenging opportunities. High school life presents a segment where youthful dreams are starting to take shape. It is also the stage when almost everybody is saying, “dreams are free; and in dreaming, dream bigger!”
Acquiring formal education is a privilege to those who want to attain their dreams in life and it constitutes various ways to do it. In whichever way, the bottom line in having to complete a course specialization in mind is to focus on the goal and make a go for it. In wanting to make it to the top of a mountain one has to start the climb. When dreaming of making it to the other shore the sail must be set. It is the same thing when one desires to explore the depth of the forest, let the steps to adventure begin. To keep track in attaining any specific goal in life, the individual keeping the pursuit should be determined to approach it with consistency, discipline, and attitude.
Teeming with energy, the young minds are directed to building aspirations which can either work to their advantage or disadvantage. It depends on the way they plan, organize and assume the full responsibility in handling the details of its completion. To some it may appear as drudgery but not with others who make their dreams as the center of their interest and not necessarily as an obsession.
Like any task, sheer gut is never enough to put things into completion. It takes confidence in oneself to do it. The truly determined never waiver to hold on to their ambition until it is fully realized. Such determination catapults their will to gain the upper hand of their future within a striking distance. It serves as an inspiration to do better amidst the travails that waits on their path. The tedious years of diligent study makes them wiser because they understand that discipline and attitude are needed to get them to the comfortable spot of building dreams to reality.
Determination also serves as a helpful; companion of a purpose-driven life. The process involves the maximized use of time, effort and resources no matter how scanty they seem to be; staying steadfast and thankful for whatever is available. Determination is further strengthened by the flexibility to think and rethink in between the result of evaluation and assessment as part of the self-monitoring process.
All of us were made to dream. Be it small or big, reality will speak of itself during high school years. Most of all, it is never enough for one to dream big, he or she must be able to live the dream to make the most out of it while enjoying the experiences of youth. Again, dream big and live the dream.
