Every teacher possesses varied traits that made them reached promotion in rank. From a Teacher I promotion, many are now enjoying principalship position, others was attained the position of being a supervisor.
There are many qualities that lead teachers to succeed. Many of these teachers are noted to be studious, persevering, God-fearing, known for being industrious. Many are oozing with talents or potentials. But one trait seems to surpass the others, and this trait is “Eagerness”. An eager person is one who always find ways to attain whatever she needs. This kind of person is serious in all her plans. He/she sees to it that whatever she does, will be accomplished.
An earnest person is never ashamed to admit his/her mistakes, her weaknesses and her inability to cope with certain situations. She admit things that she cannot afford to do. She has the guts to admit things she cannot afford to buy. These persons are advocates of Socrates in saying “Know Thyself”
With this present time and age needs more men and women who are earnest and honest – earnest in performing duties, honest in dealings with others.
These traits can be evident to our pool of teachers. Be open to people – in school, admit your mistakes and blunders – you are only human, prone to mistakes. Be eager to add knowledge, to broaden your horizon, further your studies, promotion is in the earner waiting for you.
