Education is a metaphor for a progressive nation.
For a country, like a human, to survive, the governing laws and various consequences should be considered. As such, like a pregnant woman, delivering a baby at a due time is more favorable than a premature deliverance. These laws grant a country, its citizen, and the alien therein rights and opportunities to make the best they can and the better way to trod thereupon. Law has granted them sufficient ways and means to develop, enhance, and deliver prowess for a better self. Thus, it includes the total development of a person and the holistic growth of humanity from a particular to a general perspective.
For a country, like a man, to withstand the ways of courage and bravery, it has to develop the fundamental character of a strong nation, education. An educated person has an attribute of security that helps him to go on with life – not just for the sake of surviving, but living life as it is. Moreover, another attribute that presupposes the character is the height of one’s idealism. An idealistic country is nationalistic – perhaps, patriotic – that is, people who learned to care for themselves and others as well. On the other hand, a country, like a woman, develops a third characteristic of a strong country, the power of progeny. It is the wealth of a progeny, I believe that the country’s greatest potential to survive under peril and to live upon perks will suffice success and progress for the people, and therefore for the growth and development of their country.
However, in this paper, I will show the importance of education compared to idealism; and progeny. Thus, the right of an individual to component instruction and relevant quality education has therefore been adhered to. What is the importance of education compared to the two factors cited? How does education become a relevant element in the construction of a strong country? Has the government emphasized education or devaluated the essence of which?
In the pursuit of quality education, every Filipino needs to place themselves in the shoes of others who made education available for all of us. Education, without quality, is not an education at all. Though learning happens even under a tree, as Professor Clarita says, formal education happens under the instructorship of an intelligent and competent teacher.
