Education is an industry in a sense that it runs in a system that is alike to a business. It has to grow and prosper in many aspects in order to bring good life to people.

Mehta, 2018 said that education is definitely an industry and an investment for the future of a country; together as a means of understanding oneself and others. It has global applications with far reaching effects on humanity.

It is an industry because it employs a large number of people who are engaged in teaching, managing, moderating, revising, and controlling other aspects similarly related with a business. The governments of almost all countries spend billions of dollars to educate its citizen, because they fill millions of jobs to run a country in the ways their governments believe. These individuals innovate new technologies and help the society as a whole for better and more productive approaches to living.

Education is basic to human growth in Arts, Sciences, and all other branches of learning.

Education is also helpful in personal human growth and spiritual seeking for those who want to follow this course to find the purpose of life on Earth. Being spiritual, they may interpret all forms of life in plants, birds, animals as it parallels with human life. Sky is the limit for those who seek more.

The education industry comprises establishments whose primary objective is to provide education. These establishment can be public, non-profit or for profit institutions. They contribute in a major way in the development of a country.

The future of the education industry is promising. Stakeholders have started to realize that the one size fits all approach is no longer feasible, that students excel in different things and can be group according to intelligence and potential rather than age.  Success will be measured by mastery of key concepts rather than passing standardized tests.
