Management is the ability to direct, control, implement and handle a group, an organization, an agency or a business. Management is the key role of a manager. In a school, school heads and principals are not the only managers but the teachers as well. They were tasked the same role inside their classrooms. They were empowered to handle their pupils effectively and find the best style of management to have an effective teaching-learning process and mold the children in order to become a functionally literate and productive individual.

In the present generation of learners, a teacher must be smart enough how she can have an effective classroom management. Classroom management involves proper ways of directing the learner’s discipline, behavior, attitude, participation, time management, even how he structures the room and having systematic handling of resources inside his or her own classroom is part of good management.

The kind of pupils you have, their attitudes and values will speak what kind of classroom manager you are. Well-disciplined learners are product of good classroom directors. Teaching will not be a burden if the teacher knows how to direct and manage her students. An effective teaching-learning process will take place if the pupils know how to respect their teachers and their teachers know how to respect the rights of the children, and that is a part of being a good manager. As a classroom manager you cannot implement policies if you can’t show the children that you also do what you preach and if you have the heart and noble goal why ask them to follow rules. Children can feel the sincerity even the forgeries of their teachers. They give love if they receive love; they learn to respect others if they feel they were also respected. A teacher who is caring patients, dedicated and good role model could encourage children to do the same. Children will be motivated to come to their classes regularly if they have a conducive to learning classroom and a safe place to stay while inside the school. Good manager know the proper technique how to maintain hundred percent of his learner’s attendance. A good classroom manager can find ways if the resources for teaching are not enough. He is flexible enough to adjust and find solutions to the needs and problems that arise and even in the most difficult situation, he or she can think of positive ways to find remedies. Pupils will learn if the teacher has the proper materials to facilitate learning inside the classroom. The teacher is the sole director of everything that will take place in the four corners of his classroom. Like in making film, actors and actresses can give their best if the director excels in his tasks to direct them and give them the proper coaching on what to do and how to give justice to their own roles.

Effective classroom management helps a lot to attain goals and objectives of the school and that is to cater quality education.
