Teachers have important roles in molding the mind of the learners. They are the one who have very serious duties, responsibilities and obligations in sharing and imparting knowledge, discoveries, information, virtues and values as well. They should also act as role models and leaders for their learners.

There are also two characteristics which are very important that teachers should possess and these characteristics are being efficient and effective. Most of the teachers think that these two factors are the same but the fact is not. These two factors are important in teaching but they are very different. When we say efficient, teacher is doing things right while effective means doing the right things. They sound the same but once you analyze their meanings they are very different. There are some teachers choose to be effective and there are some choose to be efficient. It is very confusing for us. Do we need to choose between these two characteristics? For some experts and professionals opinion we don’t need to choose but instead we teachers have to characterize and possess these two things. We need this in a way that we can set things right and we can do the right things so that we can provide quality education and we can produce a productive citizen of our country.
