For learning to be more effective, the environment needs to be conducive to learning, allowing the students to have enough space and time for interaction within the learning and teaching process.

          Creating and maintaining a stimulating learning environment can be achieved through effective classroom organization, interactive and whole school displays and a climate innovation.

The best learning environment should have the following attributes as ( suggested from www.teaching experties.com)

  1. The best learning environment is one of high challenge and low stress. Allows students to respond freely and encouraging them to speak and share their thoughts without humiliation.
  2. Ritualized and patterned positive teacher behaviour influences performance its true that students could only response to teachers if they feel they are appreciated when they share their ideas.
  3. Constant and varied exposure to new material encourages quicker and deeper learning. Teacher should encourages more responses by asking students to share more ideas.
  4. Differentiated structures are necessary for effective individualized learning. Consider your learners ability when you draw questions, giving others the chance to recite.
  5. Music can be used to improve recall as well as create the chosen learning environment. Students would like to use music in their lessons, it would be easier for them to recall if they sing o use music instead of just chanting.
  6. Incorporate a range of teaching strategies within planning. While planning the lesson it is necessary to use a variety of strategies suited for the topic.
  7. Ensure resources are appropriate, accessible, identifiable and relevant to children’s learning needs.
  8. Environment should support students to become independent and active learners.
  9. Adapt a collaborative approach when planning children’s needs.
  10. Good visuals display can improve recall an attention by up to 80%. Equal opportunities from an integral part of the formal and informal curriculum.
