As parents/guardian knowing that your child is safe in school helps a lot. Guaranteeing that Children Act 1989 requires all staff to pass on information that increases  the concern that the student may be from non-accidental harm, disregard, emotional or sexual abuse.

This program look after the welfare of the students, everyone is encouraged to practice prevention than to risk the students’ safety. And still contacting Social Service is a must.

Though in this program parents are more involve, it hoped that guardians will appreciate how delicate this responsibility is to the school/faculty. The guardian should take part in the program as well by monitoring and accepting that this program is formulated for the best interest of children.

The teachers are aware of the indication may it be behavioral or physical that shows the probability of abuse. Teachers are knows what to do if the child is proven abused.

These secure the possibility of discussing the situation to the principal. At all times the guardian’s decision will be kept and all the details will be confidential.

All the notion of abuse will be recorded. And this will be reported to social services if needed without unnecessary delay.

If the teacher is under mistrust, the principal will act in accordance with the requirements of the police and social services investigator. The teacher may be suspended or dismiss from duty.
