Balanga Elementary School became a hub of learning and empathy on November 21st and 22nd, 2024, as it hosted a crucial seminar focused on “Handling Children with Disabilities: ASD, ADHD, and ID.” Recognizing the growing need for specialized knowledge in this area, the seminar aimed to equip educators and school staff with the tools and understanding necessary to effectively support learners with these specific needs. This was particularly important as the participants, teachers and school heads from various schools within the Schools Division of Balanga City, largely came with little to no prior background in these disabilities.
