Every child is unique to himself, in personality traits, in cognitive abilities, in physical stature, in emotional stability, and others. Among children these differences are highly noticeable. Even in aspect of learning some children are fast learner, those gifted with exceptional intellectual capabilities and some are slow, those function at significantly lower intellectual levels.
As a teacher, we should recognize the individual intelligence of our learners so that we can easily know the needs of each individual.
Administering pre- assessment test, diagnostic test and their previous performance are some ways to determine their capabilities. Through these assessment we can group the fast learner and the slow learner. The fast learner will be given more exercises while the slow learner…. remediation activities.
