Reading is a gateway to the unreachable thing. You can go beyond the world and feel the deepness of the sea through reading. As an educator, a classroom teacher in particular, I can see so many factors to consider in order to influence my pupils to learn how to read. First and foremost learners should be equipped with basic reading materials to make them read. These includes the introduction of the alphabets. Children should be familiarized with it so that from basic steps to more crucial reading lessons they can have a systematic manner of the acquisition of learning. The ability of the teacher to introduce the lesson is another important factor to be an effective reading teacher. One must be equipped with different strategies that will enable the learner to acquire the lesson fully.

As a reading teacher, I can compare my pupils to a seed which when properly nurtured will become beautiful and stable because it is deeply rooted and someday ready to bear its sweetest fruit.
