According to the book Developing Effective Leaders, being a good team player is important because it may mean the success or failure of an organization. In an organization, being a part of a team is vital because you should know how each member thinks, acts, and performs in the tea, more so because you are the leader of the organization.
There are five ways to motivate your team towards success.
- Take up responsibilities and set a good example for your teammates.
- Teach others what you do best
- Be transparent.
- Be kind.
- Promote collegiately and build good relationships.
A team’s success is dependent not only on its leader but also on its members. So teach your teachers to become effective team players.
