It is my greatest desire to teach a learner, for once I’ve become a student. Every time I enter into four corners of the classroom, I tell myself that I will do my best not only to teach my students but also to impart the values of every lesson we take. I am thankful that I have come to this point of my life that I can now share my experience and my knowledge to other people. It is my first year to be a teacher, yes! Definitely. Although I’m an HRM graduate, I decided to take 18units of education to learn more and to be more.
Blessed. That is how I want to describe myself because aside from finishing the course, I was able to pass the Licensure Examination for Teachers on my first try and I am giving all the glory to God alone. My heart is always shouting “I’m Forever Grateful”. Despite all the challenges, circumstances, problems I face especially in my career,I don’t regret that I experienced all of them, because now I see and understand the plan of the Lord is always good. Never have I expected that I am going to be an educator before but then, this may be the fate that I need to face for the reason that my mother too is a teacher.I had been a manager and a supervisor but the one that I value the most is my present profession.
When the subjects and the schedule were given to us, I believe that was another blessing that I should be grateful for since the subjects were something I can teach relating to my past experiences and expertise rooted from management. Every time I go to my class, I feel the enthusiasm and excitement to teach because I want to share them not only the knowledge of the concept but the application that they must do when they are on the real world. Making sure that they understand the lesson by discussing the ideas but more importantly the integration of the values has been my target. From this, I believe that experience is the best teacher. Stories with values, stories with moral, stories in which they might also face, and I know by that time, they would know what to do.
Like what I’ve said, in my heart there you will see a never ending gratitude. If you will ask me why, it is just because I amnowa teacher, not only by profession but also by passion. Right now, I am very much overwhelmed with all the abundance and blessings that I received and continuously receiving. With full confidence, I would say that lies behind this success is a man of honor, power and unconditional love. That man is Jesus.
