      One way to make the school productive and sustainable is to provide effective Income Generating Project (IGP). What the institution is aiming is not just to teach children about their academic skills but how to be able to generate a profit within the school premises.

        This changing role for teachers requires a high level of commitment, who could take on a new role which is not only a matter of teaching but also of “producing” and “earning” for the benefit of the children.

        It has become clearer that much of the responsibility for success rest with the ability of teachers to provide an income generating project.      

        The level of responsibility increases because of the extra efforts contributed to the school but it

also offers a chance to broaden the entrepreneurial skills and to have a greater sense of satisfaction.

       Thus, the author incorporated her ability and experience to write this book to encourage other teachers to openly develop self-confidence in creating their own project. She aims to remove the barriers that are encountered by the teachers in writing a school project, and instead make the project easier and enjoyable.

        This book explains the basic skills in writing of school income generation project. The project plan used by the author is a format approved by the schools division superintendent. So, it is a privilege to promote this to all teachers as a self-study guide in writing.
