Learning Gap is one of the problems that the Department of Education is facing right now.

The Department of Education came up with different strategies to address the learning gap among the learners.

One of the activities we can use to close the learning gap is remediation; this is the activity that the student finds challenging to comprehend, which explains why they did not meet the objectives or the target goal. As a result, the teacher will provide additional activities related to those objectives.

Reading is one of the most common reasons why a learner has a learning gap, thus the teacher continues to teach basic sight words, words cvc, word sentences, and many more.

By addressing the learning gaps and providing ongoing guidance to the learner, the learner will now be able to improve or develop their critical thinking skills to address the learning gaps, and the learner will then be able to compete in academic performance inside the classroom, which will earn them awards and recognition.
