An old bible verse, Luke 9:14 to be specific, would narrate to us that before, in the olden times, women and children have no count in the society. It was only the men who were being counted, who were only being regarded. Women and children were given no regards. That is why in the verse mentioned above, it was only men whom the evangelist have mentioned the number.

      But as we are now civilized, and so as the situation is.  In our present society, equality is being given already and bestowed to to both men and women, young ones and old ones. In the so-called “population”, women and children is already being counted, unlike in the time of Jesus where it was only men who were being counted.

      But more than being included in the count, also, respect is being given and bestowed already to these two groups in the society. People honor those things that women too can do.  We now believe that most of the things men can do can be done also by women.

      This situation has produced more equality between men and women and has challenge each to be more productive.
