Teachers have some difficulties in getting the attention of their pupils during the lesson proper especially when they do not do something or whenever they sit and do nothing   during the lecture for 10 to 15 minutes. Their span of listening is very little. To get the attention of your pupils we should  remember the saying ”Learning by Doing”, by Jhon Dewey .This means that you should  let the  child do the activity by themselves and that’s where learning takes place. It’s more on a hand’s on activities to actively involved  in the learning process. Another way of getting their attention is by giving them rewards by simply praising them. Pupils get enthusiastic and perform actively when they hear some encouragement words coming from the teachers. With these praises, they do their activities well in the class. A simple tap on shoulder means a lot more to your pupils than you think. You can also ask the help of your parents to get involved in school.  Encouraging the parents to involve themselves in school activities  will help a lot in the academic lives and behavior of the child. With this, a parent and a child tandem go hand in hand in helping the child perform well in the class.  You can also encourage the pupils to get involved in extra curricular activities. Most of the time, the pupils eagerness to attend classes is firmly because of the sports activities done in the school. After attending to their academic activities, they are very much excited to meet their peers perform well in the sports teams and organizations they belong thus, will help the students become more engaged in the classroom.
