Reading is the most important phase in the Four Macro Skills which needs to be given important emphasis in every learner. In order to develop LOVE reading to our children school should established a Reading Corner to each classroom. They acquire bookshelves for reading corner. These may be provided by the GPTA, or they may need to be purchased. An inviting comfortable reading space increases a child’s enjoyment of books. One of the most popular recent trends in classrooms is reading corner. A class reading is suitable for students from Pre-Elem to Grade VI and can contain books from a multitude of rereading levels and topics. Once a teacher has built a classroom reading corner collection, it is important to them to create a comfortable and inviting reading place as well as space. This can be done both with style and little out of pocket expense, creating a space in which pupils will clamor for the chance to read.

            This corner will contain many resources for pupils; they become the best readers they can be. All of the visual materials are used in the classroom like the story books they loved to read. Teachers decorating their reading corner like hanging poster or picture on the wall. They put up a piece of comfortable furniture like small table and chair. This will designate the reading corner as a special privilege, making kids excited to read a book in it. Many rooms have floor mat, this will create a place where pupils will want to sit by finding convenient area to put down on the floor.  More pupils sit and lie on the reading corner during reading and story lesson.
