Now that we are facing the new curriculum of the Department of Education with big hopes and dreams, it is just right to cite those expectations which are highly anticipated from us teachers to better achieve quality education and produce better learners.

The following important notions will surely describe the expectations of the entire school community and even of the whole society from teachers who are armed with K to 12 trainings from the Department of Education.

The teachers are more knowledgeable.  Since proper trainings were conducted during summers, the teachers had an ample time accumulating the contents and methods needed in implementing the K to 12 Program.

The teachers have better performances. It expected that teachers will have better performances since they are well-abreast, well-trained and well-equipped with their respective jobs.  Since they were properly instructed of the gist of the curriculum and various subject areas, the delivery of the lessons and skills will be highly intensified.

The teachers utilize the wonders of technology.  Far from the usual manual thing, the teachers at present are proficient in using the computer as a tool in the conveyance of knowledge, information or data.  Also, the way they teach the class becomes more inviting through the multimedia-based instructions with the aid of computer.

The teachers are more vibrant.  The energy is oozing and overflowing among teachers.  It is anticipated that they are more inspired in teaching and in interacting with the pupils. They should be the epitome of animation and excitement.

The teachers are more creative.  Now that we are in the new millennium, teachers are more imaginative and artistic most especially in the accomplishing the lessons and in inviting the learners to participate actively in the class.

The teachers are fast and accurate.  Due to the help of technology, the teachers are quick yet accurate in performing their respective tasks.  Moreover, there are more available materials around which assist in the accomplishment of their duties.

The teachers are well-versed.  Versatility is present among teachers.  It is expected that they should know a lot of things in various areas.  They should be flexible and can easily adapt or adjust to changes.

These are the expectations from the K to 12 educators and they are contributory in achieving excellence in education.
