Leadership – one of the heaviest responsibilities placed on a person to be appointed as a leader. Every aspect of our lives needs a leader just like in a family – the father or mother, in the school – the principal, in the barangay – the captain, in the church – the archbishop or holy pope,, and throughout the country – a president.

Leadership is a task in which an individual effectively motivates his or her constituents towards a common goal. Of course it is possible to study being a good leader but personal character, ethics, stance, opinion, extensive experience and knowledge will be more helpful to implement and formulate laws/goals and decide what to do. He knew it was right and best for the majority. Also remember that a good leader has also been a good follower. His one -time being a follower will help him to hear all grievances, be aware of any event, be strong in the true attitude of his constituents and above all only just and righteous will come to his lips.

Often there are misunderstandings without good leadership. Therefore a leader should (a) initiate action, (b) provide motivation, guidance, courage and morale (c) create a working environment (d) maintain communication (e) accept mistakes or opinions of others.

If there is good leadership from the smallest branch of our country, surely everyone will live in peace and prosperity.
