Media is the most influential thing that is occuring in our present society. The young breeds of learners are the ones deeply affected by it. Essentially, proper guidance must be applied for them to be directed well and not to be so much mediated.

There is an agency of the government that is in charge of classifying all the shows and programs in television and radio. This plays an important role in helping parents guide and educate their children.

The teacher too will be a great contributor to guiding the learners of what they watch on television and what they hear from the radio. The teacher being known as one of the trusted persons in the life of the learners has a big part to perform.

The teacher will educate the pupils that they have to be critical on what they watch and hear. They should not believe right away of the things being shown and said. Also, lead the pupils not to be polluted of the unkind behaviors and ideas that they see. Tell them to avoid those shows and  programs that are not suitable to them.

Inform the learners that the guidance being flashed on screen like General Public, Parental Guidance and Strict Parental Guidance are serving as reminders on the parents and children of the shows and programs that will be projected on screen. Therefore, they (learners) have to avoid those programs not applicable on them.

Inevitably, media is not only confined on television and radio. The print ads, newspapers, internet and among others are also parts of media. That is why as an educator, a teacher must also remind the learners on these things, that they have to take the good ones only.

The teacher must enlighten the young minds of the things they have to see and explore and lead them to their way.
