Complains here, complains there, complains everywhere.
In my everyday routine being an online class teacher, never a day would I not hear any concerns from students and parents regarding school tasks and modules. Seems everybody is having trouble facing the new normal amidst the pandemic, right? It is uneasy to say that we are all geared up for this worldwide chaos especially in the field of education.
The administration, together with the stakeholders, are doing the best way they can to at bridge the gap between the learners and the quality education even if under quarantine. Different modules were crafted by experts, various strategies were planned by the officials ahead of time, and numerous tasks were given to us teachers. We are all busy doing something. Don’t get me wrong, we are happily and willingly busy.
Some netizens tag teachers not to be doing anything at all so their salary should be given to parents who are obliged to teach their children at home. But I hope our nature of work is as easy as they think it is. Honestly, our workload is tripled than before. The pressure, the stress, the tasks are burdensome. Our complains at times are just our avenue to release the tension inside our chaotic and bombarded minds.
Even so, we are happily stressed.
The irony of this heavy but happy work creeps into me everytime.
Personally, I am burdened but I am lifted. I am tired but I keep going. I am gutted but I am energized.
I am down emotionally, physically and emotionally in some situations but when I look up, comfort and prowess come in. Thanks to the One who provides the wisdom, strength and patience.
Though complains are everywhere, it is a good thing that there is One Highest Being to run to.
Yes, I am happily stressed and blessed.
